Clarity 淨度

The amount of the internal characteristics of a diamond affects its clarity. A diamond may have inclusions such as cracks, or blemishes such as scratches. These characteristics will lower the grading or value of a diamond, but in most cases, they will not seriously affect how beautiful the diamond looks or how strong it is.

鑽石內部特徵的多寡，是影響其淨度的因素。鑽石中或有破裂、內含物(Inclusions)，而表面有刮痕，則稱為缺隙(Blemishes)，這些均會降低鑽石的等級，但多數情況下，都不會嚴重影響美觀和堅固性。
